Think Tank Competition

Think Tank is a one day competition. Teams register, arrive to the site and that day receive competition challenge. Teams will have a time frame to use the engineering design process to design and build robotics mechanical builds and then test their designs against other teams to see which team completes the task with the highest level of evidence to support the most efficient solution. Teams are allowed to use various robotics platforms and programming software as long as it meets competitions constraints and guidelines.

Challenge C - Search and Rescue

Teams will receive a mission and will be tasked with building a robot that can get through a maze to collect various items using remote drivers. Teams will be able to use audio and video connections to help with maze travels being the driver will not be able to look at the maze.

Challenge A - Engineering Build

Teams will receive a problem and then are asked to create a mechanical build solution to that problem. Teams will be judged on how aesthetically pleasing their build is in addition to the efficiency of its performance.

Challenge B - Maze Run

Teams will receive a maze and approved sensors and they will be tasked to build a robot that can they can get through the maze in a faster time than other teams. The only way the robot can maneuver through the maze is with autonomous programming.
