Team Locations: Hampton Roads (Peninsula)

Age Range : 8-14

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Competition Season: Dec - June

Competition Tentative Outline:

7am - Check-In Registration / Captain Meeting 8am-12pm Build Time Noon-1pm Lunch 1pm-4pm Testing/Rewards

Meeting Time: Practice/Workshops 4:30pm-6:30pm Thursday (bi-weekly)

Participation

Individual registration: $200.00

Team registration includes:

  • Team registration

  • Regular season competitions

  • Robot use

  • Computer use

  • Team shirt

  • Team display items for competitions


Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing transportation and snacks for all practice sessions and competitions.

Competition Makeup

Teams will arrive to competition site and receive the Competitions Challenge (new challenge every competition).

Teams will have a time frame to use the engineering design process to build robots and then compete to see which team completes the task with the highest level of evidence to support the most efficient solution.
